Welcome to Brain Science, Addiction and Drugs (Completed July 2005)
The project was launched on the 13th July 2005 and all publications are available to download or order.
The Aim of the Project was:
To provide a challenging vision as to how scientific and technological advancement may impact on our understanding of addiction and drug use over the next 20 years.
Project Objectives were:
- to produce state of science reviews;
- to create vision(s) of the future;
- to create new networks of people from across scientific disciplines and areas of business and policy-making; and
- to identify key challenges and engage those who can take them forward.
Project Scope
The project's broad scope was to explore the implications of future science, including social sciences, on addiction, drug use and treatments. State of science reviews of the areas of science included can be accessed here.
