Short Review & Discussion Papers
A number of short review or discussion papers were drawn up over the life of the project and contain material that is of relevance and interest, but they have not been through a formal peer-review process. They fill in gaps in the coverage of the science reviews or address some specific points as a stimulus for further debate.
Expert Workshops
A series of 3 sequential expert workshops were held: Uptake of Technologies (September), Crime Opportunites and Prevention (October) and Societal Impact of Science & Technology: Risk and Trust (November) with the outputs from each workshop feeding into and informing the next workshop.
The outputs from all three workshops were fed into the analysis and synthesis stage of the process.
Two sub groups looked at the core technologies legal issues. The Technology Forward Look and a discussion document looking at the concept of Generally Accepted Digital Principle can be found on our publication page. The material was fed into later stages of the project.
